We exercise we eat at home but I still can not seem to lose the weight, I would like. This is one of our favorites we have it often I mean at least once a week. Usually my husband does all of the grilling. We make this salad in a teak bowl rubbed with anchovies. Then we finely dice the anchovies and put the remainder in the dressing. We usually buy the wild salmon we enjoy the flavor more. You can also do this recipe in the oven placing the salmon in parchment paper and broil. The calories is 342 depending on the size of the fish.
`
Salmon Cesar Salad
2 cloves of garlic
2 pieces of wild salmon
1/2 cup teriyaki sauce
1/2 cup hoisin sauce
1 tablespoon paprika
3/4 cup fat fee Caesar salad dressing
2 anchovies
4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup slivered almond, toasted
Drain all access water off the salmon. Rub the chopped garlic over the salmon. Place salmon in small pan to marinate with teriyaki sauce and hoisin sauce. Refrigerate at least 20 minutes so that the salmon can take in all the flavors of the sauces. If cooking in a pan pour part of the sauce in the pan. If grilling brush sauce on salmon, cook on both sides at least 4 to 6 minutes depending on the temperature. In a large bowl toss romaine lettuce with dressing and juice from the anchovies. Slice salmon into pieces arrange over salads. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and almonds.

Hey!
My mom had a lot of trouble losing weight too for awhile even though her and my Dad were going to the gym 5 days out of the week. She started using the nutrisystem and only used it for a little while to get herself started losing weight. After about a month (I think) and she had started losing weight her and my dad just started eating LARGE salads with their dinners. They still eat a lot of the things they like but just have a salad that almost takes over their whole plate. They also have elminated goodies from their diet (except on a rare basis) and only eat fruits, vegetables, and nuts for snacks in between meals.
I don't know what things you are trying, but I figure I'd throw that in as a suggestion since its worked for my mom. :-D Me and my mom weigh and are about the same size now. Where growing up she was always 20-30 pounds heavier than me.
I am having trouble losing weight too...exercise and all.
This salad looks fantastic. I haven't had salmon in a while...I will be trying this.
Thanks for stopping by my blog!!
The weight thing is killing me as well! It's the most frustrating thing! But this salad looks amazing, I've got to try it!
Hey Lynette!
So, the salad looks awesome and we're huge salmon fans. I think this will become a family favorite for us, so thanks.
About the weight thing. It seems like we're all struggling with that. Especially those of us who love to cook. I found this website called thedailyplate.com
Check it out and see what you think. Try it for one month (it's totally free) and see if you have any results. Basically, you type in how many pounds you'd like to loose per week and it calculates how many calories you allowed per day to loose the weight. I lost 8 pounds in 2 months and it feels great!
Let me know what you think. Good luck and loves...
Such a wonderful idea, salmon with the salad, and the dressing ingrdients sound perfect!
Salmon Caesar is my favorite. Love all the flavors.
Thanks for your recent visit to my blog. Hope you'll come back again soon.
This sounds so healthy and delicious.
I feel ya on the weight thing. It's hard for so many people. I've been trying to eat smaller portions, but it's hard.
A salmon caesar salad sounds great!
